"The Committee affirms that this will remain a 100% community-led event. We are committed to ensuring that 100% of the revenue raised (after operational expenses) goes directly back to the ceremony presenters and participants who make this community tradition possible.
We are deeply grateful to Raizes Collective for providing fiscal sponsorship at no cost to the DDLM 2025 Committee, and for helping us maintain transparency and community integrity by providing a bookkeeping service - free of charge. We invite any community non-profit who would like to do the same, to approach the committee with an invitation - so that the commitment to support and fiscally sponsor this community celebration free of charge, may continue and the responsibility may be shared."

Fiscal Sponsorship allows for individual artists and community members who do not have an established TAX ID to use Raizes' Non-Profit Status to apply for grants, or request funding for specific projects or events. Raizes is here to support and nurture the growth of artists and community leaders with this resource.
